His diligence led to his promotion to Resident Insurance Inspector, during which he expanded the company’s operations in Mombasa, Kenya, Western and Nyanza counties, and developed the company’s agent network in the new territories. During his tenure at MINET ICDC-Kenya, as Account servicer, Dr. Ogutu managed Kenya Airways Hull Insurance for the national carrier. His expertise in arranging insurance covers and negotiating comprehensive marine programs with major insurers like Swiss-Re, Munich-Re, and Africa-Re that included preparation of monthly and quarterly reports  showcases his ability to foster strategic partnerships and navigate complex insurance landscapes. Further demonstrating his versatility, Dr. Ogutu served as an account Associate  at MINET-ICDC, where he successfully settled various workmen’s compensation claims related to the Norfolk Hotel bombing in 1980.
